FITMENT Compatible with Explorer Sport Trac 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2WD/4WD (2/4 Wheel Drive). NOT FIT FOR the Base or the Sport models. 2) SUPPORT the body properly before removing mounts. (RECOMMENDATION: Use a 2x4 piece of wood 24 long or any other suitable size between the jack and body panels to spread the load to avoid damaging the body panels). If necessary, support the body in multiple areas. 3) LOOSEN all nuts and bolts but DO NOT REMOVE. Working from one side of the vehicle at a time REMOVE the nut and bolt from ONE mount position and raise the body high enough to replace mount, NEVER HIGHER. -NOTE: If penetrating oil did not work when loosening the bolts, use of a torch may be require. If washers/sleeves is provided, use in combination with the original metal parts that are not replaced by hardware provided in the kit. -NOTE: This kit requires ALL FACTORY HARDWARE to be REUSED. 5) After all mounts have been replaced. (Position A: 41 ft/lbs; Position B, C, D: 59 ft/lbs) -NOTE: RECOMMEND applying blue loctite to threads factory bolts when reinstalling mounts. RETORQUE all nuts and bolts after initial setting of mounts (approximately 100 miles of driving) to ensure fasteners are not loose.
