Cabtopia copywrite shape templates are designed for the lapidary and jewelry environment. They are flexible and durable enough to curve over shells and rough-end cuts of stone without distortion or breaking. Visibility through the crystal-clear template material allows for pattern selection in any material such as stone, leather, patterned metal, worked polymer clay or even wood. These Cabtopia templates have been carefully designed with 4 main shapes, the largest starting at approximately 50mm in size at the largest ends stepping down in calibrated increments to allow the artist to develop suites, clusters or make new shapes all together whether they cut stones, make jewelry, use with airbrush, paint canvas or any other art or craft media. To use with clay: Press the template into the clay slab and cut around the impression. To create the impression on clay: Mist the template with a clay release prior to pressing into the clay or use plastic wrap (misted) and slightly press into the clay then lift off. Use your fingers while the plastic wrap is still on the clay if need be to smooth or shape if making a cabochon. Use a very fine needle tool. Start at the outside corners and cut to the inside corners for the cleanest cuts.
